JP Candela is a stalwart of the Spanish house scene and one of the most influential House DJ/Producers on Ibiza’s electronic music circuit.
Resident DJ for Pacha Ibiza for many years, he has become David Guetta’s DJ of choice at his legendary F*** me I’m Famous parties at Pacha Ibiza and FMIF World Tour. JP is the only artist to play after Guetta every week of the summer residency.
In 2016 JP Candela was signed as an artist for LIVENATION in Spain., an accolade which will have him performing at the brands main festivals and concert after parties. He is also the official face and resident of LIVENATION’ s massive Barcelona Beach Festival – BBF in 2017

JP Candela remains one of the most prolific remixers and producers in the Spanish electronic music scene. Some of his remixing highlights include David Guetta’ s Feat. Sia and Fetty Wapp – Bang My Head, one of the biggest hits of 2015, David Guetta Feat Nicki Minaj “Turn Me On” and David Guetta and Kid Cudi‘s “Memories” which was championed by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1. JP also delivered memorable remixes for Dennis Ferrer, Jaydee and Tara MacDonald. JP’s remix of Kaz James’ “Kids” was charted by Pete Tong as one of the 10 best tracks at Miami WMC in 2012 and his remix of Showtek’s “Booyah” on Spinnin Records, which garnered huge reactions.
He is the music manager for for his own record label UNION Rekords, an up and coming record label which is looking at a combination of club music and big room sounds.
JP has racked up appearances at some of the most prestigious clubs and festivals across the globe including Rock in Rio, Ultra Europe, Creamfields, Dream Beach, WMC Miami, Isle Of Dreams, Barcelona Beach festival, Holi Festival, Zurich Street Parade, Medusa Festival, and Gay Pride. He has played at legendary clubs such as Minstry of Sound (London), Zouk (Singapore), Versus (Belgium), Sirena (Brazil), Sapce (Ibiza), The Egg (London), Queen (Paris), Noa (Croatia), Spazio 900 (Rome), Puro Sky (Berlin) and One (Buenos Aires) to mention a few.
Club and festival alike, JP is popular on the Spanish and international celebrity circuit with regular appearances at sport, fashion and cinema, events. Many artists have used JP as the DJ for the concert after parties such as U2, The Killers, and Rihanna. JP even performed as support DJ for Lenny Kravitz´s last Spanish tour.
